Our Mission
The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a supportive and positive learning environment
where every member can develop oral communication and leadership skills, leading to greater self-confidence and personal growth.

A Toastmaster’s Promise
As a Toastmaster, I promise to:

Abosede George, DTM
District Director
Abosede George, DTM, is honored to serve as the District Director for District 14 during the 2025–2026 Toastmasters year. Since joining Toastmasters in 2018, Abosede has been dedicated to personal growth, leadership development, and helping others discover and foster their potential through the Toastmasters program.
Her leadership journey in District 14 has been extensive and impactful. She most recently served as Program Quality Director (2024–2025), where she led teams that produced innovative TLI and DEC training programs, energized speech contests, and oversaw a successful annual conference celebrating growth and achievement. As Club Growth Director (2023–2024), she focused on building and strengthening clubs, and as Division A Director (2022–2023), her efforts earned her recognition as Division Director of the Year. She has also served as Conference Project Manager, Club Retention Chair, Area Director, and in nearly every club officer role, including President and Treasurer.
Abosede’s commitment has been recognized with numerous honors, including the District Program Quality Award, Distinguished Toastmaster Award, multiple Super Achiever Awards (2019–2025), and several leadership accolades at both the Area, Division and District levels. As District Director, Abosede’s vision is to lead District 14 in becoming a healthy, thriving, successful District where every member reaps the full benefits of their membership by providing opportunities to lead, contribute and grow. She believes Toastmasters is not a spectator sport and champions involvement at every level—club, community, and district.
David Glenn Smith, DTM
Program Quality Director
David Glenn Smith is a highly respected AI enthusiast and international speaker. In 2025, he was invited to speak on stage at the Mesh Conference in Calgary, Canada, where he led a workshop on Agentic AI and its disruptive impact on the way we view artificial intelligence. Shortly after, Dave also spoke in Washington, D.C., on the power of AI voice agents, gaining recognition from his colleagues as an authority on the subject—though Dave humbly insists there are no actual “AI experts,” as the field is constantly evolving.
On February 22, 2025, Dave was honored with the Joe Biden Lifetime Achievement Award for his years of community service. On that same day, he received a proclamation from the City of Atlanta recognizing his unwavering dedication to the community. His impact spans multiple areas, including initiatives like Bullying is Not Hot and the Christmas Angels Program, making a lasting difference in countless lives.
A National Black Radio Hall of Fame inductee and Living Legends Foundation honoree, Dave’s influence extends far beyond the airwaves. He has served on the Board of Directors for Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless, using his platform to uplift those in need. As a certified NLP coach, he empowers professionals with cutting-edge strategies for success, earning recognition from Radio Ink Magazine as one of the Top 20 Program Directors in America.
Whether producing sold-out events like Birthday Bash ATL, mentoring future leaders, or championing community causes, Dave’s impact is undeniable. His ability to inspire, lead, and create opportunities sets him apart as a true industry icon.
Dave joined Toastmasters in November 2019 and quickly found himself “encouraged” to take on the role of VPPR. The following year, he served as Club President, before rising to a 2nd term as Club President and Area Director, Division Director, and currently holds the number-two elected position in District 14 as Program Quality Director. Larry McClelland, DTM
Club Growth Director
Dr. Larry McClelland, DBA joined Toastmasters in 2019 and remains a dedicated member of Toastmasters of Centerville. At the club level, he has served as Club President and three terms as Vice President Public Relations. At the District level, he has served as Division Director, Area Director, Club Mentor, and Club Sponsor. Outside of Toastmasters, Larry is a 24-year retired U.S. Army First Sergeant. Larry is also the Founder, Owner and CEO of SADA Enterprise, Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia. SADA Enterprise’s main mission is “Merging Entertainment with Business.” Other notable accomplishments of Dr. McClelland are that he is a lifetime member of the Alpharetta Georgia Chapter of the NAACP currently serving as the Chair of Labor and Industry, a proud member of the NationalSociety of Leadership and Success, and a member of the Phi Sigma Pi Chapter of the National Honor Fraternity.
